Project Overview
Ezra's Enlightened Cafe, is a dairy-free, processed sugar-free, GMO-free, and gluten-free cafe located in Indianapolis. Their mission is to "offer enlightened food, wellness products, and education to their customers, their community and the planet, serving awareness, happiness, vibrant health and culinary bliss; one beautiful person at a time."

Enlightenment is the overall concept. It means "freed from ignorance and misinformation" and can be achieved through meditation.

Design Process
The logo redesign for Ezra's Enlightened Cafe is meant to symbolize enlightenment. The orange figure in the middle is a simplified illustration of a person meditating which is how an individual achieves enlightenment. The figure also completes the purple lotus flower behind it because the lotus flower is one of the many symbols of enlightenment.

The illustrations are simple line work offset shapes of color is supposed to symbolize meditation and the act of being enlightened.
